My name is Morpho and I am 23 years old. I live in Larnaca, Cyprus, where I was born in March, 1993. I am currently an Interior Design student at Alexander college/ UWE in my hometown.

I have been passionate about Arts and expressing myself from a very young age, but I had to pass through different experiences before I finally decided to make a career on Interior Design. When I was at high school, I got really passionate about Photography, but then I didn't realize why. Was it because I wanted to express my feelings or because I was excited to create beautiful pictures? It all came up subconsciously, but that helped me cultivate my love for detail and my aesthetics.

When I graduated I went to study Photography in Sofia, Bulgaria, my mother's home country, which I so much love. I was very excited to finish high school and go there and live with my grandma while studying in the University. When I came back in Cyprus, I got blocked and I didn't know what to do, so I decided to take some time and I enrolled to a BTEC Art and Design Foundation program in Limassol, where I expanded my love for mixed media. I love creating crafts with the most real and natural materials one can find, like seashells and driftwood. I also like experimenting with different techniques and materials and that is something that relieves my stress now and then.

Recently I have bought a Vespa, which is my second passion after Interior Design. I got influenced by a movie, where a girl was riding a Vespa. So I decided to have driving lessons and then get one myself. I am in the Vespa Larnaca club council as the only girl, which makes me feel proud of myself. When I ride my Vespa, I feel self-confident and free. I also collect Vespa related memorabilia or souvenirs, which I either find online, locally or on my travels.

But let me talk about Interior design. Before deciding on studying Interior design, I wanted to try something extremely different from the Arts field and that was Criminology. I was pretty good at that but after my first year of studies I decided that this is not my calling or something I feel good doing. Actually, it somehow made me feel restricted and depressed. I knew that this is not what I wanted to do my whole life, it didn't make me happy, and then I decided to change paths and study Interior Design in the same University. However, because of the gap year between these two, I decided to introduce myself to Interior design by enrolling to The Interior Design Institute, where I've recently graduated from. I can picture myself as an interior designer either working in the residential sector or creating and reselling crafts and accessories. I like designing spaces, giving my own note to each room or space, and I am fascinated by the idea that one day I will manage to establish my own style. But I do appreciate the Internet and others work, so I am constantly in the search of new ideas, books or articles about Interior design, and I am a collector of such books, as well. My favourite place for unearthing decorative ideas is Etsy.com, which I everyday visit. I like finding interesting articles there and use ideas or buy stuff for my own decoration.

So my culture is expanded by different things, some related and some not so much, but I am extremely content when I do things that I love and when those things gradually shape my own personality.
